King George may never appear completely clean-shaven, but he certainly excels at crafting finely cut interior designs.

The Dirk De Witte Group had more in mind than just establishing a new men’s hair salon in Sint-Niklaas; they also sought a strong name and branding to introduce the concept to the market. They wanted a concept salon for men without falling into clichés. The King George design team came up with the name OSCAR, along with the catchy tagline ‘gekapt en geschoren’ (trimmed and shaved), and designed a trendy salon with rugged materials, stylish retro chairs, vibrant colors, and wallpaper that matched the brand identity. And, of course, a waiting bar where the guys could enjoy a pint while awaiting their haircut and shave was a must.
