During the challenging years of 2020 and 2021, creative solutions were needed to bring a warm holiday atmosphere to the city center of Sint-Niklaas. King George, despite rapidly changing restrictions, put together two last-minute COVID-safe winter walks filled with experiences and emotions. In 2020, for three weeks, you could take a city stroll along 13 surprising stories and Christmas trees. Each tree featured a heartwarming or moving story from a resident of Sint-Niklaas. A year later, visitors to the city embarked on a magical dream journey with the sisters Sarah and Emma, who shared their dream world along a designated route.
