It was time for something new, thought Juntoo, then called Overstock Home. The furniture brand underwent a metamorphosis in product range, as it went from pure stock sales to tighter and contemporary furniture collections. As a result, the retail formula could also use a thorough overhaul. After a strategic analysis, King George designed the new 1,500 m2 flagship store in Schoten that serves as a blueprint for other branches. The result is a hybrid shop system in which flexible walls and customisability are central.
